All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD). This policy explains how payments and refunds work.
Free card confirmation
Confirming a payment card is optional and free. We use it to help maintain a more accountable community. No HeartMatching fee is charged for card confirmation. Some banks may display a temporary authorisation that is released automatically. We never store raw card details and never charge your card automatically.
One-time messaging unlock
Messaging is unlocked with a single one-time payment of A$19 at the account level. This permanently unlocks messaging with your accepted connections. There is no monthly subscription. The payment is separate from card confirmation and always requires your explicit, separate approval at checkout.
Refunds
If you experience a duplicate charge or a technical error, contact us and we will investigate and refund eligible charges. Because the messaging unlock provides immediate access to a digital feature, refunds for a successful, intended purchase are granted at our discretion and in line with applicable consumer law.
Payment processing
Payments are processed securely by our payment processor. Payment confirmation is verified using signed processor notifications, and we take steps to prevent duplicate charges.
